Another needlessly fussy referee, though obviously not at fault for our abysmal performance.

3 from me. Far too fussy and let too much go (in Lincoln’s favour).

7 - Bit card-happy towards the end, but didn't notice him too much.

We were so poor that I can't say I remember anything about the ref's performance.

Can't blame the referee for that performance

1 out of 5 for the first half, when it was still a contest because he was gullibly suckered in by their time-wasting, play-acting and general sh!thousery, even becoming part of it at times. Adding 1 minute on when they were taking at least that over every set-piece was insulting.

4 out of 5 for the second half because he didn't really have that much to do wrong, we were doing it all ourselves.

-1 for adding 8 minutes on, the sadistic lovely person. Total 4.

That is word for word exactly what I was going to say.

I gave him a 6 because I assume he must have been average, given his performance pales into insignificance compared to the performance of the team.

3, are you kidding me?! Our players were far too soft yesterday.

7 from me too. Apart from -3 for not knowing a single thrown in rule.

    So 4

Nobody is, I personally give a mark and explain why I’ve given that mark

He did seem to fall for a lot of the Tom-foolery stuff. The biggest one being the Devante Cole yellow card. Cole lifted his foot their player come from around the back of him and ducked to head the ball. Cole’s foot wasn’t high or dangerous. If contact was actually made it was minimal. To give a foul was unlucky, but to get a yellow, after ref had watched their player roll around was poor. Typically player made a miraculous recovery once card had been brandished. Other than that nothing controversial. A 4 from me, would’ve been a 6 but he was too easily influenced

Focusing on him became a good distraction from the teams terrible performance! I thought he was poor. He bought it virtually every time someone fell over, he stopped nearly every opportunity to take a quick free kick, he massively failed to stop players standing on the ball to prevent it being taken (has that rule been rescinded btw - there were regular bookings at the start of the season for doing that but it seems to have returned to normal). Referees performance - a generous 4. Team performance - a generous 3.

Again all about players conning refs. Every single week. Yet they fall for it so it continues to happen.

That’s why I scored him at a low 3. There seems to be no such thing as a strong willed referee any more

I agree - they were. But I’ll stick with the 3 score. He was poor and extremely weak when challenged by Lincoln players

Bit fussy, bizarre yellow for Devante - but we’ve had a lot worse and he was the last of our issues Saturday.

    5/10
