How was yesterday's ref? I've only seen the highlights so I can't comment, though to me, he got the red card decision right.

Yes he also got our penalty shout right, saw a vlog from behind the goal which shows the defender got the ball. The iFollow footage was inconclusive.

My usual low vote - 3 for this one. We could have had three penalties but I have only seen them on the single camera iFollow footage so far so maybe he was right, maybe not. I bet at least one was a pen though.

Good on him for marching straight over to their idiot substitute and giving him a red for the off-pitch deliberate kick on Corey's shins. That wasn't a "hard challenge", mistimed or otherwise. It was deliberate assault for no apparent reason although, again, I only have the iFollow footage to go on. Maybe our lad did do something - the home crowd were on him every time he touched the ball after that so maybe he did get away with something. Still no excuse for their player doing what he did though.

Apart from that though I wasn't all that impressed. He let a lot of fouls on our players go for whatever reason. I don't believe we are a "diving for no reason" team so it's annoying when fouls (particularly on Cosgrove) are ignored. Sam is big enough to stand up for himself but perhaps he is hesitant when it comes to giving it back seeing as he has had more given against him than for him all season. Still, he wasn't the worst and, thank goodness, didn't contribute to our losing points.

Given a 3, got the red card right. Should have had a penalty for foul on Cosgrove, thought O'keefe foul was a penalty too. Scowen should have had a yellow early on for a blatant foul on Connell, left a foot in on Kane too.

Really can you post a link, I was behind the goal almost inline with the challenge and it looked a clear penalty to me at the time

    5. He let a lot of things go but by and large was consistent in that. Thought the pull back on Cosgrove just before he scored was the only glaring error.

Ive given him a 6 - first half he was poor We had 3 decent penalty shouts. From my view point the one on OKeefe was stonewall.
The rest of the half the ref seemed to be favouring Wycombe, but he did give us the foul on Cosgrove at the end of the first half which quite often we arent given.
Second half I thought the ref did a good job don't think he got much wrong after the break so 4 first half, 8 second half = 6 overall

Well looking at that, it was a clear penalty as was the push on Cosgrove

As clear a penalty as you might see anywhere, and that thug of a right back goes straight to the ref claiming a dive! The other two maybe pens?

Still looks a clear pen to me - Wonder how the ref justified a goal kick
Cosgrove one should have been given as well but less surprised that wasn't

Just under 8 minutes in. My initial feeling was penalty but it looks to me like the defender gets a touch on the ball. Not completely conclusive I agree. From the post above, it seems the ref gave a goal kick so he clearly didn't think the defender got the ball o_Oo_O

Look closely Okeefe plays the ball just before the contact so the ball does change direction slightly but thats OKeefe beating the defender who then kicks our player

Me and the boy Airtyke were also right in line. We also thought it was a nailed on penalty, in fact so much so we even stood up!

If you think it's a stonewell pen, how have you given him a 6 mate? I understand your average, but had we lost that game would it still be that high?
