No relation to Jack and Vera, I'm reliably informed.

Probably missed a penalty decision for either side, though I'd argue theirs was the stronger shout.

Otherwise, not the worst ref we've had, but far from the best.

Will update the league table when I can be bothered.

Points deducted for 2 penalty shouts not given, especially theirs, and for the seemingly little attempt at getting them into a point at the end.

Solid enough though, and seed to forget his whistle at times for both teams

I thought he was ok. The missed pens evened themselves out but he tried to let the game flow.

Missed a couple of obvious fouls for either side but seen plenty worse. Didn't think either "pen" was a particularly clear shout. 6.

Thought he was consistent for both sides which is a novelty for us. Yes it looked like he could’ve/should’ve gave a penalty for both sides but at least it evened itself out. Don’t recall any over-fussiness. A massive 6 from me

Thought he was great other than a couple of soft fouls. Seen both penalty shouts and I don't think either was a penalty. Seemed consistent enough, probably the best I've seen for some time, even though there weren't much contentious decisions to make.

Does he get points added, or deducted, for allowing a wrestling match to breakout anytime Cosgrove was in the box?

Thought he was generally ok apart from the Cosgrove penalty incident. Re the Carlisle one despite Matt and his mate both thinking it was a penalty their players made little or no claim for one Gave a a 6 which is pretty generous by my usual ratings

I thought he was pretty good tbh.

Didn’t think either was a pen but weaker refs give them.

Let stuff go - which I’m a big fan of so might inflate the score. Can’t abide fussy refs stopping the game every two seconds.

Can’t recall a ref I’ve scored higher even if he did get a couple of minor bits wrong - 8/10.

Steady 8……..few decisions which were contentious for both times but never really noticed him the whole game so that suggests he was ok
