No complaints really, didn't get much wrong, could have booked Connell for an aggressive sliding tackle but surprisingly didn't (didn't give a foul either). Couldn't argue with any of the bookings to be fair. One of the better refs this season, solid 7 from me.

Thought he was very finicky and quite inconsistent. Got the corner call wrong in the first half which could have potentially led to a goal. Still far, far better than the clown who took charge of the Blackpool match. 4.

I've a feeling he's going to get hammered for the timing of their goal but aside from one or two 50-50 decisions and not booking their player for mouthing off at the assistant shortly after booking one of ours for the same offence, I don't think he got much wrong. He was a bit soft in awarding fouls to defenders but we benefitted from this as much as Northampton, MDG in particular.

Only a 2 for me. As usual far too much to inconsistency in his decision making and that extra two minutes at the end cost us a win. Not his fault we can’t defend but even so. Why do they all say “go on then, one more attack, then I’ll blow “?

The time he added on seemed right. Didn't hear anyone in the ground whistling or saying we'd gone over

Too much apathy in the crowd for any whistling or complaining. A kind of “oh well, that’s that then” feeling

No I mean when we were winning there was no calls to blow the whistle before they scored which if he was playing an exceptional amount of time over there usually would be

Yes I know what you meant but there was too much of a “not bothered” feeling, so no deafening whistles and the like, as there would normally be

Let Cole have his shirt pulled all game never got a decision on comes Cosgrove does exactly the same thing to their defenders and now it’s a foul yet not the other way around. Yet another case of viewing similar incidents differently and it’s annoying.

The usual inconsistency, but that's almost to be expected. He didn't have me calling him a twãt though, don't remember him getting too much wrong, so I'll give him a 7.

Didn’t do much wrong that accolade goes to our inept half 4rsed none trying useless lot.
Think that was one of the lowest I’ve ever felt coming away from the ground.

Inconsistent again but not the worst. Can’t complain about our bookings, but 1 or 2 of theirs got off lightly for similar. The foul on Cosgrove where their player had his shirt over his shoulder was comical. I still don’t see why there was at least an additional 2 minutes on the allotted 4 mins added time despite substitution and a foul. A bit meh really so a 5 from me.

Am I to assume that you weren't around when:

We thought we were in the playoffs and even announced ticket details, before discovering Brighton had got a last minute winner.

We surrendered pathetically and meekly in a must-win game against Norwich, getting relegated to the 3rd tier for the first time in most of our lifetimes just 4 years after being in the Premier League.

We went into admin, then got absolutely arseholed by Danny Wilson's Bristol City.

Pretty much every match of Schopp's reign bar Coventry home.

That's just off the top of my head. The ending to this season has been a massive damp squib for sure, but it's still a very, very long way on the depression scale from everything I've mentioned there, and a lot more besides.

Soz. I presume Andy Liddell and Nicky Eaden tearing us to pieces before half-time for Wigan is also something you don't wish to be reminded of?
