I know our performance was crap but the man in the middle was diabolical clear dive for the pen ( no yellow issued) coke had his shirt pulled back numerous times nothing given the first shirt pull we do results in a yellow card , constant time wasting by Oxford nothing given

 

If all else fails, blame the ref!

 

Thought the pen was a clear foul haven't watched it back though

 

He is bar far the worst this season

Penalty all day for me' best decision Collins made was to bring him off he looked like a rabbit in the headlights and would have probably got a red' but i remember Solly having a mare in his first game.

 

Definitely a pen. However he had let an elbow go on Kane before it and then a handball in the build up too & also following one of the later goals he let a blatant push in the back of one of the midfielders that they went onto score from.

 

Yes a penalty all day but the ref was appallingly poor and missed loads of stuff. also allowed dreadful time-wasting by Oxford despite the new rules..

 

We were very poor today.Now on to the ref.Just prior to Oxfords 3rd Cole was fouled but the ref waved play on,fair enough but the ball went out of play so for me the advantage had gone.This one of numerous head shaking moments with the ref today.If the guy who refereed the Port Vale game would have been in charge today he would have booked about 12 for time wasting shirt tugging not taking the throw ins from the right place and he would have played 30 more minutes injury time instead of five.
Exaggerating a bit but I think you get my drift.

 

Exactly. The penalty if we had Stevie Wonder and Andrea Bocelli in our directors box, they would have seen it was a definite penalty. Styles got booked for a blatant grab. We made a first half substitution because he thankfully missed what should have been a second yellow.
