    He did but was, apparently, struck off for ten games for breaking EFL rule 16.3.2; Never, ever award Barnsley a penalty.

    Oh, dear God, no. The only ref worse than Eltringham - an absolute confirmed Barnsley hater. From Sussex and a friend of Gary Willard.

    Even had a 100% loss record under him with Big Val when we won nearly every other week. His performance at Oakwell against Wednesday that season was beyond bent - check out the Woodrow incidents that should have resulted in a penalty and a sending off of a Wednesday player.

    I really hope the club look at his record of refereeing against us in the Championship and ask for a re-think (ask Ipswich how it's done).
