    Referee change for tonight. It was due to be Robert Jones but it's now Kevin Friend. The experienced Premier League ref was last in charge of a Barnsley game in 2017 v Wednesday when Sam Winnall celebrated length of pitch and Angus MacDonald levelled in injury-time #barnsleyfc

    The Oakwell good luck charm continues. You can tell why he's a top flight ref. He catches any gamesmanship like time wasting and niggling fouls. Got our penalty claim spot on too.

    We both got plenty of free kicks. Our lads got yellows for blatant fouls that we cannot complain about. Our penalty shout Styles went down softly after having his shooting angle narrowed.

    My main gripe was in the first half when Lawrence tried to take one of our players out, ref acknowledged the foul played on, but just spoke to Lawrence. Woodrow did same and was rightfully booked
