I think that he needs to think pretty long and hard about the atmosphere around the ground and amongst the players before taking the pitch on Saturday. If the players are feeling about ten times worse than I do - and it is as if it happened to a member of your own family - the quiet depressed feeling can easily explode into rage. I think that the players will need to guard against this on Saturday, but the referee also needs to play his part. Watford and Malky Mackay also need to think about it. Truth is - one raised elbow anyone round the place come Saturday against any of our players and the place will explode. Some careful thought needed before Saturday by all parties - both teams and the referee.
No need to have careful thought on anyones behalf. Just the need the opposition to play within the rule and the referee to do his job. We're not looking for any special favours, just a level playing field. Can't start expecting things of people who had nothing to with the incident.
