These guys shouldnt be centre of attention week in and out like they are yet they becoming notorious for their mistakes, their seemingly biased handling of games and in the case of some of the premiership refs, their obvious feelings of obnoxious self importance in the face of everything, Clattenberg being a prime example.

You shouldnt have to expect the worse as we did prior to yesterdays game yet we were commenting at half time on how Kettle had been largely anonymous and how he was saving his worse for the second half. We werent to be disappointed.

When the free kick was about to be taken Kettle delayed and delayed and allowing players to push and shove each other in the area. There was only going to be one outcome. a penalty. But what for? Kettle gestured with his elbow. If it had been an elbow then why didnt he send someone off? He then gave Davey two different reasons for his decision.

Im not disappointed that we didnt win against Stoke as I thought it was probably a fair result but you cant fail to be disappointed at the way we were pegged back again by a referee thats again allowed himself to get excited and involved in proceedings.
