I think sooner or later (preferably the former) PC will decide that it's more grief taking a back seat than it would be to just take full control of the club.
.

What we need is an experienced chairman, somebody like john dennis. Then have somebody working alongside him. Somebody younger, to learn from him, one for the future, perhaps somebody like rob knowles. that would be popular.
But... ... you have not got the faintest idea just how good or otherwise GS really is! FFS!
You're putting forward speculation drawn from the claptrap hearsay drivel frequently spouted on here by the so called experts that in truth know two thirds of three fifths of f*ck all about football and the business it's become.
Emotion getting in the way of reality again.

RE: But... I have no qualms about the way the club is being run. I think people tend to forget that we were perilously close to going out of business all together. GS and PC have worked hard to ensure this didn't happen and have put us back on the right track (ahead of schedule). However, I do resent being patronised. If there was real money to spend this season...why hasn't it been spent? If there is **** all to spend, just tell us.
Based on nothing specific ... ... but I reckon PC isn't getting much satisfaction out of his "benefactor" role, and he clearly doesn't enjoy/want the limelight. Couple that with the demise of iSoft and I wouldn't be surpised if he just walked away and kept walking. And who can blame him, at least he had a crack and fair play to him fo jumping in when he did. As unsure as I am with certain aspects of the current regime, its 1000 times better than where we were heading pre-PC.
