If anyone has any information, or would like to make formal representations regarding yesterday's issues at Port Vale and the police behaviour, please email yes2@tesco.net and the Supporters Trust would be happy to help. Or speak to any representative of the Trust. Ideally before 4pm on Tuesday.

We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was injured or pepper sprayed by the police or those that witnessed any violent behaviour by or towards Barnsley Fans by either PV fans or Staffordshire Police

    Thanks.

Hope this also includes anyone that saw our moronic element causing trouble with vale fans - hope they come forward too and get identified - our club is being integrated by a mindless moronic section of about 50 that need banning -

Read the thread yesterday. Was that car window really smashed by a bloke's head pushed in to it by a police officer? And did a kid get pepper sprayed? ******* hell! What's going on?

It always seems to be at Port Vale, as you yourself can testify.

Seems that way mate. Saw a lot of reports on facebook yesterday but to do anything about it we need something a bit more formal

Ive seen a video where Barnsley fans formed a line/group and eventually surged forwards towards the police who were trying to control them. They charged forward shouting 'go on' and were then pepper sprayed which did exactly as it is supposed to do and forced the hooligans to retreat. Even other Barnsley fans (the people filming?) can be heard referring to hooligans before the pepper spraying.

Said this all along - our fans are not the saints made out to be - that picture looks like a normal lad just off to footy with his mates - yeah right - I've had a load of abuse on twitter for saying this - all from people with 'casual' in their status

From what I've heard the moron fans on both sides were to blame for the trouble yesterday.

Exactly right. The police did a poor job, but if the trouble causers weren't there there'd have been nothing for them to mess up in the first place. You see in that youtube video that Whitey posted that the pepper spray came after the Reds fans (and I am using the term fan losely, because anyone with the club's best interests at heart wouldn't act like that) charged the police. As I've said elsewhere, I didn't get pepper sprayed because I didn't get involved and if anybody did get pepper sprayed by accident, why didn't they get out of the way when it was quite clearly kicking off?

looking at the video and also the picture of the so called person that had head smashed through car window, looks like there is more to the story than what people are saying, time for all moronic elements PV & BFC to be outed and dealt with im afraid

No winners here. A combination of idiot fans and club heavy coppers. I just hope no innocent bystanders got caught in the crossfire
