    Ready for the season to start now. So many unknowns, but whilst they could be negatives, can't help but feel excited for kick off on day 1. All these unknowns add to the excitement of supporting the club.

    We may kick off the season and everything just gel and we have a great season..

    Bring on Brizzle for me.. U reds!

    I'm with you. You can choose to be either optimistic or pessimistic and I choose optimistic. If you're not excited about the start of a new season, I'm not sure what the point of being a football fan is.

    I've just confirmed tickets for both games (Morecambe & Ipswich). Legends Suite, Old No. 7 and the Miners Rest in Old Town will be getting a visit too.

    I can't wait! I usually fly over for the first home game, and we usually lose, so anything else is a bonus.

    Lads can't win. If we lose on opening day some will blame it on signings or lack thereof, but our away record on the opening day isn't very good generally.

    Add to that the 1st round of the league cup in which we normally tow with a lower league side, and there's the potential for uproar on here by a fortnight today.
