My choice, no not ET it is...

'It's a wonderful life' starring James Stewart

My wife said i had no soul,so she insisted that i watch it at Christmas.

I did and at the end I was sniffing coughing wiping a piece of dirt out of my eye (cough)

Mind you she was bawling her eyes out after five minutes !!!![IMG]

    Goodnight Mr Tom

Not really a film, more a TV drama, but still good.

One of my top ten films that one!

Mind you, apparently when I was little I used to cry at every film to which my parents took me. Almost at the point of giving up taking me to the cinema they decided to give it one last shot - Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I'm told I did ok until the end, when I became very distressed because I thought Snow White was really cruel leaving the dwarves on their own to look after themselves!!!

Agreed. Brilliant story and John Thaw played the part extremely well.

I'd already eaten venison too many times to feel sad about that one!

I'd watch it every time it comes on the telly

The bit at the end when he comes down the hill on the bike that used to belong to his dead mate and says "I can ride it DAD I can really ride it".

Some thing always pops in my eye at that moment !

    :)

Never saw at the cinema - wish they'd re-release it, should have done for it's 10th anniversary
