...but we're already clamouring for a long ball game are we?

Wasn't naive enough to think the pre-season form would continue in to the season but it seems some were. Really enjoyed the way we played on Saturday and remember, they've only been asked to play like this for 6 weeks. Signs are there, we'll get better and better.

Chill the f.ck out. Robins in.

not at all, but if we're going to play the passing game we've got to know how to actually play it. the amount of times players stood around not moving with a defender between them and the ball carrier was far too many. Jimbo started doing some running into to space, but then for some reason stopped and cut in, straight behind a defender. why?

hopefully it'll come to them, just hope it doesn't take another embarrassment to do so.

Biggest disappointment on Satdi was when we did have the chance for a cross or shot we turned it up. Hoped for something different at home but we'll see - still plenty of time. And we need everyone to chill art or it'll be an even longer season than last.

We need to buy players who are comfortable on the ball, 3/4 players in our team aren't.

Is that 3 or 4 players that aren't comfortable, or three quarters?

3 or 4, three quarters and we would be buggered.

I did go last night and it was very funny to hear the same people sat around me last night who last season where moaning about the long ball game and were last night shouting every two minutes get it forrad, hit it long etc etc!!!

I can see what they are trying to do, it is going to take time, I just can't see the majority of the fans giving them time.

The next two games will be very interesting...Keep the faith!!

I dont understand why it has to be pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass, lose the ball. I don`t want hoofball either, but I really believe that you need to MIX it up, not stick rigidly to one tactic. By mixing up the way we get the ball forward, it makes the opponents think twice, do they push on and try to press tghe passing or do they drop deep for the quick ball forward! With just pass pass pass etc all they have to do is press up to our defenders and wait till we make a mistake and give them the ball.

Anyway that is just my take on it. maybe that makes me a negative nelly or whatever it is today, but so what!
