RE: reight then I've had enough of all this moaning and whinging, who's going to be man enough to. ritchie's doing a fine job in his first season,i said before the season began i would be happy with a top 10 finish as to me that would represent progress on the last few years, but he is doing better than most of us expected we are in a play off spot in feb as opposed to being 13th or lower and talking b*ll*cks about putting a run together to nick a playoff spot as has happend in the last few seasons, we are there now, our season is still very much alive and we still have everything to play for, this is down to ritchie's management, his backroom staff and his signings, and as for all this b*ll*cks about ritchie being too soft with the players im sure the likes of conlon and vaughan would definatley agree he is a soft touch.ffs get behind em.
RE: reight then I've had enough of all this moaning and whinging, who's going to be man enough to. I put the following comments on another thread and am quite happy to stand by it. "I also would see the playoffs as a fantastic achievement but I wouldn't be too quick to say that it was all down Andy Ritchie, unless he does something totally out of character in the next few months, like starting to make good tactical and managerial decisions. If he does, then I will be the first to congratulate him. I believe that we are where we are now, despite Andy Ritchies best efforts not because of them. We are in a very poor division where there are no run away winners and we have had some luck. If we continue with the same in-experienced management and with the same amount of luck then we could maintain a playoff position but it would be wrong to put that down to good management by Mr. Ritchie. It would place a burden on him that he would not be able to bear in a higher division where the competion would be greater and more consistent. If that were to happen, my opinion of him wouldn't change but yours and a lot more peoples would."
