we have ALL moaned and what not regarding the last 3 performances.. a lot of us have criticised the managers comments.. ill hold my own hands up to doing both.. but i stick by what i said in my 2 or 3 posts.. he shouldnt have said a lot of the stuff that he did, IMO.. neither were the last 2 league games of the required standard.. so im not ashamed of anything, OTHER THAN maybe going a little OTT.. but i never cried for new expensive signings.. i never said we were going down.. i certainly never said the manager should go.. i did always repeat the fact its early days.. no way though am i thinking everythings rosey all of a sudden either.. but this 3 pts was always going to lift the club and us supporters if we managed to pull it off.. i am so proud of the boys today, and just as proud of the 330 odd tarn fans that went to Reading and CHEERED us to a 1st ever league win at The Madjeski.. the ref and JayMac tried spoiling it, soz Jay lad, but we can now be a bit more calm and reflect on the words that Hilly said.. because he KNEW we would perform without the negative pressure, and boy have they performed.. WHAT A WIN!
i suppose we could go OTT the other way now.. but lets not..
ive always thought he was our correct and ideal choice for manager, and despite the last 7 days, i have never doubted that given time he will get us going.. i think we all said that the formation would work better away.. and look who got a game.. arise again Sir Bobby of Hassell.. we now go into next weekend with a little bit of a morale boost for both the squad, and us the fans.. and im not being clever, but i said that if the boos werent there, that the lads were more likely to perform.. i just hope the boo-boys read my blog, and read similar threads by others on ere, where all we ask is for u to back the lads at home as we do away.. use these vehicles for criticism, not for 94 mins at Oakwell..
sorry if i offended some of u, ill do my best to offend u ALL next time! lol haha.. that was a joke btw, because im in a good mood! cant wait to hear Keith stick it down our throats! yeah.. who could blame him.. in Hillcroft we TRUST.

agree with a lot of that whitey, just my own spin on 1 of your comments though "he shouldnt have said a lot of the stuff that he did"

if you mean he shouldnt have said the stuff about us playin attractive attackin football, what were his alternatives, tell us we didnt stand a chance and would struggle to string 2 passes together, there would have been uproar on here about it.

if you mean his comments about the fans being negative than am sorry but am 100% in agreement with him, dont get me wrong i was as pissed off as anyone walkin away from the last 3 home games but put things into perspective, new manager, new team with little funds was always goin to take time and still will but if fans arent even prepared to give a brand new set up at least 15 to 20 games then i have to question why they supposrt the team in the first place

never mind 15-20 games it takes 3 seasons to build a team, always thought that. Yes you can expect good performances while this is going on but I just think it helps to illustrate just how mad football has become if you consider the above alongside the fact that the average time a manager spends in a job is about 1 year, nobody gets a chance and I do wonder just what people think they are going to achieve by booing the first few games, what do they want Hill sacked? Don't think Hiddink or Mourinho will be knocking on Don Rowing's door anyway.

i get the feeling knowlesy that some do want him sacked without realisin that we would then end up with a blackwell or laws, the very people they didnt want in the first place

I'm with KP i agree with most of what he said i just think he could have put it in a better way but he's an honest bloke and just said it how he saw it........ isnt that a typical Barnsley trait? :)
