Looking at the league table and going on current form, it looks as though Blackpool are definitely going to be in mix. We need to get a couple of quick wins from somewhere to put pressure on. Our present squad should top Yeovil, Charlton (too many games close on) and I think Doncaster. Interesting listening to Hodgson on petition to stop Cleverley playing for England. He said the coach picks the team not petitions.
Bizarrely until last Saturday I had us relegated but I expect to see a big reaction a good display and a win over Forest and that'll put us right back in it. Onwards and upwards.
In the absence of all other reasoning I'd like to imagine last Saturday's shambles as a watershed in our season, where Wilson finally loses it with those who have taken the piss, throws off the cautious air and we come out fighting (in the correct way) However, on what I've actually seen so far I think we'll go down with a whimper.
All I ask is that they have a go. If we go down, let's go down together with a bloody good scrap!! 2 points is not a lot to claw back and there are teams above us self-destructing.
Just hope last Saturday hasn't knocked any last fight out of them. DJW's motivational skills need to be at da max
Last seasons never say die attitude is needed. The noose has been around our necks for the last 7/8 seasons but we've shown if you're committed to the cause anything can be achieved.Roll them sleeves up lads and let battle commence.
I understand you frustrations and it can be energy sapping but who knows next year may be the season where we do progress. We'll only find out by staying in this division.
Ye that's reight let's give up and go down lose a load more fans struggle in that league and end up playin main or bridge *******. COYR
If your winning football matches no matter which league your in you'll get the fans in, the reason crowds are dwindling is because people are sick of watching us struggle, nip on Doncaster forum and ask them which season they enjoyed most last season being best in league winning home and away every week or finishing 4th bottom in championship a few years ago scraping wins, they'll only be one answer, they achieved the same thing championship football for the following season but no one wants to watch their team struggle and that's all we've got to look forward to in this league.
