Come on Mr Chairman do your job, never seen a Barnsley Team lacking in depth as this one, no motivation,no belief, running out of ideas fast. It all comes from ONE man, it,s time for a change Patrick most fans of the club can see this just by looking at the seasons results, we are a Poor Team and one man is to blame. O.K it must be a difficult decision to make but just stand back and look at the mess we are in. :'( :'(
Thats a pretty clueless post. All down to one man my arse. Sacking Davey who has worked wonders to keep us in the Championship is not the answer. We are a medium size provincial Club from a small town in South Yorkshire not a big City Club.
He hasn't worked wonders or miracles or however else you like to put it And you repeating that fact doesn't make it so. He's done OK, no more. You keep having a go at the more extreme posters who are constantly calling for Davey's head, but in my opinion your constant over estimations of Davey's performance are just as ludicrous.
Sorry we are Team that are destined for RELEGATION, seen it happen before and just because .s.d kept us up last season doesn't mean he'll do it again or are you blinded to it like our Chairman seems to be?
I've had over 50 years of watching the Reds.
I have seen us get rid of managers and still be relegated.
I've also seen us stick with managers who have kept us up when we have been fighting relegation, and thats not just Davey.
I have seen managers take us down and bring us back up again.
I speak from experience not emotion.
We need a firm steady hand on the tiler.
If I thought that sacking Davey would send us up to the top of the Championship I can assure you I would be crying out for Pat to sack him just as I did when I saw that Ritchie and Holden were not putting a shift in on the training ground.
I am sure that Simon and Pat are trying to do something we as fans can't do. That is bringing in players to give Davey the squad he needs to keep us up.
It's not the time to get rid of one of the hardest working managers we have ever had at Oakwell.
It time to stop moaning and do what you we do best.
Thats supporting the Towns biggest asset our beloved BFC.

Its not just about hard work.....Brian Clough didn't do much on the training ground. I personally think its too late to Sack him now. Difficult call for PC give him money or save the money for a new manager next season.
RE: Its not just about hard work.....Brian Clough didn't do much on the training ground.
and he still managed to get Forest relegated.
The thing we don't know is would Forest have sacked him if he had not retired.

His successes were also matched by plenty of failure. Imagine if he had managed BFC to two European Cups. If he didn't do it the season after the bbs would be shouting SACK CLOUGH.
I'm going to stick my neck out here. Davey will never win the European Cup. His cup success with Barnsley will be the highest point in his managerial career.
