Relegation could actually help the team to regroup and strengthen the side. We might bounce back stronger and in a better position to compete in the championship.
will a double relegation help twice as much? or a treble relegation be three times as good - we'll have to post that one on a Luton forum. (worked for Donny)
'We might bounce back stronger and in a better position to compete in the championship'. Good point. However, it took us 30 odd years between the 50s and 80s to get back to tier 2. I'll be dead if/when we get back up on that basis!! :'( :'(
Absolutely.....fecking not if we go down we'll lose what decent players we have... I'd put us nearer to the bottom than the top of league one.
We might get more than 10,000 every week if we are the top of league 1 rather than struggling at the foot of the championship.
it took us four long years last time of watching turgid rubbish I'll still go but that's because I'm thick !!
This is the worst possible time to be going down There's an extra £2-3 million per club going into the Championship next season from TV deals.
Miss out on that and we'll always be struggling to catch up with those clubs who get it - Donny, Blackpool... :'(
