relegation play offs?

    i think its

    just because those teams are dead level as it stands so if season ended like that they would have to play off

    Its because they are equal on goal difference.

    It's because at the moment those two teams are level on every basis. If it stayed that way there would be a relegation play off.

    If you read the small print below the table

    If two or more teams finish level on points, goal difference and goals scored at the end of the season and the championship, a promotion place, play-off place or relegation place is at stake they will then play off to decide who finishes higher.

    I dont think we need concern ourselves too much

    RE: If you read the small print below the table

    If results had gone a certain, quite reaslitic way in the last 2 games last season we would have finished with an identical record to Plymouth, 3rd and 4th bottom, and would have played off.

    Not sure it has ever happened, but in a way, I am quite surpised.
