I must admit to being disappointed by the outcome of this season, but probably due to my age and the years I have spent supporting BFC, this season seems a lot better than the one older members will remember, and my first experience of relegation, 1953. That was a truly awful season. We only got 18 points from 42 games (2 points a win in those days) and our last victory was on the 6th December. We sold Tommy Taylor (out top scorer) during that season, but by that time we were well on the slide.

What did we do with the £29,999 we got for Tommy Taylor?

I think it went into Sir Joe Richards pocket

Maybe we will bounce back as champions at the second attempt like in 1955.
