My mate has just rung me from the ground and told me the following, He isn't a season ticket holder so after he purcheased his home tickets he asked a member of staff at the club what his chances were for an away ticket and they said "there are at the minute around 1300 tickets for the huddersield game left and what ever tickets are remaining by close of play today will go on GENERAL sale first thing tomorrow to give non season ticket holders a chance to get a ticket, one ticket per person" Dont shoot the messenger just relaying what i was told.
I think he has been given false information The Clubs website is quite clear regarding the procedure - there is no logical reason to change it tomorrow - in fact there are loads of good reasons not to or all the ST holders turned away today will be rightly very unhappy
RE: I thought that but if you read the official web site regarding away tickets all it says is that they will be made available to season ticket holders in the FIRST INSTANCE which was today. If you think about it maybe there doing the right thing in giving non season ticket holders a chance to get away tickets. Just because there not season ticket holders doesnt mean they havent been to a large percentage of this seasons games.
I, as a none season ticket holder actually wanted a ticket for Hudd away, but have to say this is a bit unfair on ST holders.
RE: Good You mean those that lost the interest on £300 and let the club gain interest on it instead?!
didnt the policy state any remaining tickets would go on general sale on friday, im sure ive read this somewhere. if this is the case i dont think they will change it, otherwise they will have another day of even worse queuing
Someone Went.... to the box office with 15 season ticket booklets for 15 tickets. his mates and family have got it made getting someone to go down for them.
Ok So season ticket holders are actually just trying to "skank the club of a few quid" - interesting way to look at it!
NOT TRUE Season ticket holders only for away tickets until close of business Thursday. Any left go on general sale Friday. From Don Rowing's own mouth at the ground at 6.20 pm today.
