the entire ground was singing D I ****io and he lost the plot that much he got taken off. Hilarious.

And it would be hilarious watching explode when our bunch cant string 2 passes together but stable long term appointment? Really? Cant see it myself - although i just cant rule out anything any more.

Mansfords parting comment last night was:

right got to get off - got Di Canio to interview in the morning.

tongue in cheek or dipping his toe in to test the water?

They won't appoint him. Think about the personalities involved.

Had a text from a pretty reliable mate saying that Di Canio was at Oakwell this morning. That doesn't mean he has got the job but I reckon he is being seriously considered.

Cryne's cunning plan to scare us with DI ****io, so we welcome anyone else with open arms! I wonder how much he's put on at Bet Victor?

It's a shame there weren't any camera phones in those days. Would love to see the footage again of him walking towards the Ponty to choruses of D I ****io, accompanied by several thousand hand gestures.

You'll get your wish if he gets the job and it goes tits up cause it will. I can it hear now as some club from the depths of L2 score there fifth at Oakwell and the 2000 in the ground give di ****io a rousing chorus of his song

It would be fantastic to have a high profile manager and it will add some excitement to oakwell for a change. I hope di canio gets it
