    He scored a 25 yarder for Barnsley reserves but had little else going for him.Does anybody remember Nigerian trialist Peter Prosper.He played for our reserves one freezing November night and when his bootlace became undone one of the other lads had to tie it for him.

    Back in the 60's I seem to remember a goalkeeper of African origin (sorry I can't be more specific) called Nusum or something like that. I don't think he lasted long.

    25 yarder? It was more like 50. I was there. Joe Royle sat next to me and my old man that night. But you're right, other than that breathtaking strike (and it was... it went like a bullet) he was invisible.

    Am i thinking of a striker who never played for us called Pirri then?

    Pirri was a left midfielder signed by Hendrie. I believe he played two or three games in 98/99.
