And it's OUR Cup Final? It's your lot going on about it!! It's just another game for promtion candidates. Alos, can;t wait for your 10 point deduction when you slip into administration later this week. I'll keep the good grace not to laugh in your faces like you did us. Face it, Wednesday have had their day. Ageing ground, dwindling crowds, un-mangeable debts, past glories that were'nt ALL that and fans that live in cloud cuckoo land. Get a grip lad.
They should be!! But hey, they've got rid of "that ****** Allen" Thick as the proverbial. I said to a couple where I was working today "What about the debts?" They sort of looked blankly at me.....
RE: You worried about administration? Gotta admit its slightly worrying but to be honest there are several options available to the club and administration is at the bottom of that list. Allen can't get his money back straight away even if he wanted it, however it is due by the end of 2008...£3million it is believed. We're just celebrating the fact that the cancer has been usurped from the club before he has been able to do irrepairable damage.

You must be - you posted it twice!
I'll probably get slammed for this but I hope you don't go into admin - not pleasant at all - no fans should have to suffer for a boards incompetency! ( Not even you lot!)
You do realise they'll ban me for saying this!

great strike... have to admit it, wonder if he'll do it against this year.... oh not with you any more? ... and Wednesday being such a big club... he could only have gone to Arsenal, Man Utd no wait Chelsea.. that's it .... eh ? West Brom, why would he leave a massive club to go there ?
RE: You must be - you posted it twice! No bother mate, I too think like you. I even put a fiver into Rotherham United's bucket when they were having collections at Hillsborough. No way should a genuine fan suffer due to the incompetency of a chairman. There has been a lot of scaremongering in the press and ont wireless but the reality of it is that its highly unlikely we'll end up going down that road. Without getting in too deep with SWFC politics the main creditor is the bank (£26m). If the club went into admin they would only get a fraction of their money back. However if the club ever return to the Prem (not as unlikely as you might think) then the bank would get all of its money back immeadiatley. This is completely different to how Leeds United's debt was structured, they owed millions to the Inland Revenue not a bank. Hence administration couldn't be avoided. Administration would be calamitous and terrible ordeal to go through but I just can't see it happening to us.
RE: great strike... We got £3mill for someone who, even though he was sporadically brilliant, he was also terribly inconsistant. Obviously i wish we still had him but I think at £3mill for a player who cost us nothing, it was good business for SWFC.
RE: You must be - you posted it twice! What you gone and done that for.... (banghead) ....Being agreeable.... Preferred him when he were doing a windup ffs, reminisces of TFP.... (clap) ....
