    I remember us smacking them the year we went up. Neil Thompson with one of the cleanest strikes I've ever seen.

    Agree, as good a strike as Barnard's v Huddersfield for me. Played them off the park that night, even the BBC Radio 5 reporter, Alan Biggs, described our play as "breathtaking and brilliant".

    Really? I remember him scoring and the going right up to the ponty goading and a few objects ended up in his direction (no need.for that either).

    No-one in the ground knew what the penalty at the end was for. Except Mr Kettle.

    It’s not often a leave a match really angry. But I did that day. It’s bad enough being robbed with a “soft” penalty in Injury time but against the the way they behaved that day I was fuming. Hopefully we won’t get a repeat today
