Why? Didn't Ryan Giggs win it previously? A known adulterer. Gazza won it, who once beat up his wife. I'm sure others who've won/been nominated in the past will also have done things wrong in the eyes of many. So what's Fury's crime? Quoting the bible? Suggesting Jess Ennis looks fit in a dress? However, I can't say I give a toss whether he's nominated or not. Not sure he cares either. He's won what he wanted. But I'm looking forward to the media moving on and leaving him alone for a bit. So maybe it's best folk sign it and get him DQ'd. Or, "suck my balls" as he himself said earlier.
Jealousy mate that's all If haye had done the same a few years ago we wouldn't have heard the end of it By the way some cracking boxing on Saturday mate First real test for Joshua When's our podcast from yesterday up mate Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was watching a interview some time last week and according to tyson he said his comments were taken out of text, he said that the conversation that was taking place was about armageden and the end of the world as we know it he continued, that what he actually had said was that before armageden and the devil making a re-apperence , the following would need to take place, they would have to legalise homosexuality peadaphilia and abortion in certain countries, to which he then added who would have thought 2 out of 3 taking place back in the 50s and 60s. Then adding ....Non of which i agree with. Hes entitled to his opinion... isnt he....
It is voted on by the public, if the public don't want him to win he won't. No need to kick him off the ballot.
I'll be finding a stream for AJ vs Dillian. Not paying £17 for that on box office. Looking forward to it though. But I expect AJ to KO him early. And on that note, AJ is the media darling yet he too thinks these attacks on Fury are wrong and that he's being given unfair stick. As for the podcast, it'll be tomorrow hopefully.
It's a joke. These journo's that's got it in for him, Ollie Holt & Matt Dickinson both consider convicted rapist Mike Tyson a hero who they couldn't wait to interview. They all knew about Giggs & his super injunction & we're happy to sit on the gravy train & praise him when he won the award too.
Struggling to see what he's done wrong, pointing out that in the 50's these things were all frowned upon and noone would have thought theyd be legalised. Even if he see's being gay as bad as a peadophile, thats his opinion. I dont particularly like the guy, I think he's a ****ing moron who is one of the worst champions there has ever been but its ridiculous people are making such a big deal of this. It's a silly petition. It's an award handed to someone based on what they achieved in their sport. How they are as a person and what they say should never come into it. Based on what each person on the list put on the line he deserves to win it as he's in a much more dangerous sport. I still think Jessica should win though for making a mockery of her competition who could train constantly, which she couldn't.
they need to rename it, sports person or sports achievement, summit like that. personality clearly has nowt to do with it. they confirmed that when they gave it to andy murray
"Tyson Fury has dismissed criticism of his inclusion on the shortlist for the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year award and described those who have signed a petition calling for his removal as “50,000 ****ers”." Yes - what a charming fellow!
Nice that 50,000 enlightened people want to remove freedom of speech and freedom of religion. I wonder how these 50,000 would react if it were to be removed from them. Don't they realise they would make a Martyr of him - only lost because of the "****ers" and all that. Let the public show how much they hold him in contempt by allowing him to come last in the vote.. surely that's more humiliating.
Zara Phillips miraculously won the award in 2005 I think. Sure she's the only female winner in the last 15 years or summat. So I think Jess Ennis-Hill ought to triumph this time. Superb achievement this year and to be fair, has been a true Great Briton for a long time. Needs honouring. Also looks fit in a dress, but would be better on her back..
