Interesting reading here. With how we know Dale Jennings was effected by his move to Bayern it makes you wonder how intense things are there and what the support structures are for the young lads moving over.

Of course it could just be a coincidence that 2 young players have gone over there and come out ‘damaged’.

Is there any other examples of young players making the move to Bayern and struggling?

Kimmich, Thiago, Alaba and Muller, of the top of my head, are from their academy or signed up young and they've been pretty good. Some clubs just aren't the right fit

Thiago signed when he was 21 but already played over 70 times for Barcelona.

Kimmich played over 60 games for Leipzig before going to Bayern.

Bayern don't ruin young players, They bring the best out them, but the training regime out there is immense, for example the coaches at Bayern make you run up and down a big hill non stop as discipline. It is much more strict there than it is in the premier league.

Players like Renato Sanches have failed over there because they think that they are these luxury players who don't have to work hard and will get into the team because of previous reputation at their last club's. (A bit like Moncur who thinks he can just walk into a team without earning it)

Just look at the players they have developed or made stronger. I.e Arjen Robben.

Chelsea and Man city ruin young players.

There’s no doubting they bring through unbelievable talent.

I just wondered if there were other examples of so called ‘wonder kids’ who had gone the same way as Jennings and Sanchez.

It's a possibility? But it's same with most big clubs... these so called young players who are going to be the next big thing can't handle the pressure.. for example.. Michael Johnson of Man City.. he's now an estate agent.
