renault clio. help needed

    i have been given a 2001 renault clio that dosent start. a chap from aa said says theres a fault with the key, maybe caused by being close to a mobile phone which has done somat to chip?. and now the key wont start the ignition. any advice any on how or where to get it fixed, plus cost. tia

    And it will cost a fortune.

    Some local garages should be able to source the parts cheaper.

    What happened to the spare key?

    bloody hell, my renault too as conked out this week!!
    My scenic's throttle body or summat is fecked, must be a bad week for renault owners :(

    Some of the mid-90's 400-series actually had Honda engines in them as they were basically a re-badged Civic.</p>

    Not a bad runabout if you can find one that hasn't rusted to buggery.
