Ta for e-mailing. You might be right altho it'll be interesting to see how you get on when suspensions and injuries kick in.

Great season so far - I saw you at Colchester early on and you were definitely worst side we'd seen in that division for ages. Turned it round tho so well done - and if it's any consolation - you are costing me buckets so far.

    Cheers

Yes - Here's the full 'conversation'.

In actual fact this is the biggest and strongest squad that I can remember. We've got people sat in the stands, never mind the dugout, who would have been regulars not so long ago.

    Andy

It's about time you started to respect Barnsley.

We've toughened our act up at the back, have some flair coming forward and like it or not pal, we aren't going to lose many games this year.

Oh by the way. You can't over-achieve and flatter to deceive at the same time. Maybe that's why you only write for The Sun!

    Regards

    Steve

You should stop worrying about what the press are saying about us, I think it's actually working to our advantage. If we keep personally attacking journalists, they'll have a field day if/when we go through a poor spell. It's a bit early to start being smug about things.

I prefer when journalists, managers and opposition fans are putting it all down to luck rather then ability and are expecting an easy ride and 3 points for nothing. It's a bigger surprise when they find out what we're capable of producing.

At what time are we allowed to start being smug about things?

I was thinking tea time. Too early?
