    Why does clicking 'Reply to Original Post' often not do as it says? Your reply sometimes ends up replying to a reply you've not even looked at.

    I wondered if it was something to do with the display mode (hybrid for me)

    I've got that view where you see the posts in the order they were made. Whatever that's called.

    I have asked this question before of admin and they have never answered it satisfactorily. It surely shouldn't matter which view you are in, "reply to original post" means the first actual post to me, I.e. the originating post of the thread. I use the hybrid view and it infuriates me when I see my responses linked to the wrong post.
