Little Man Tate highlight of the weekend. The Kooks were so popular it was impossible to get to see them unless you were there well in advance Alex from Franz Ferdinand and Ricky from Kaisers are top lads for taking time out to chat wi a bunch of teens who had managed to snurdle their way thru security... good lads. They both smell like human remains... so bath n bed for them both
Didn't see Kooks, LMT, Franz or Kaisers... Lightyear were great, nakedness and everything. Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday and Less Than Jake made my festival. Belle and Sebastian were awesome. I've showered and the pink's come out of my hair, it's more blonde/ginger with bits of pink. Going back to the normal colour tomorrow
picked my two up.... no smell !!!!</p> also picked up son's girlfriend... they all looked very tired. Muse were their favorite !!!!</p> They were lucky enough to get 'guest' tickets from a mate at emi. They had to pay full whack, but they said it was supposed to be more civilised. When I got there it looked like a refugee camp, I half expected to see Michael Burke doing a piece to camera for BBC news, so goodness knows what the less civilised bit was like. </p> They loved it !!! to me it looked like hell on earth, but I'm 47 not 19 !!!!</p>
Agree about Little Man Tate. They were fantastic as always! The Rakes, Bromhead's Jacket, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Muse and Arctic Monkeys were also excellent. All round top weekend!
