Some old and disabled people suing the Post Office for closing the local Post Office citing the Disability Discrimination Act . The Post Office was listed within the DDA as an agency or body of specific relevance that should comply with the DDA. Part way into the legal reps for this group putting the case together the Government Minister for the DWP (The department responsible for the DDA) decides on a whim and with no consultation or debate, to ...ahem...'remove' the Post Office from said list. ("no one from the DWP was available for comment".)

It may not be illegal but it is certainly immoral and unethical. Then again, how many times did Blunkett when Home Secretary break the law and get caught doing it? Arrogant bunch of To88ers who think they are above the law.

Get rid and the sooner the better..... hold on though what do we replace them with??? Doh!!!

"labour is taking the sleaze out of politics"...Yeah Gordon... dead right...NOT!!

    Rant over
