Having parked at Harboro Hills Health Promotion car park on Satdi & to do some shopping, have lunch wi Tyketalker n go to the match. I returned to the car @ 5.10pm wi RR#2 and my neighbour who has been in poor health recently. I put my coat n bag in boot got in after everyone else had settled in and the realised SOME GIT HAD HAD MY radio/CD/MP3 player away.

I'd like to say respect to them. The car was undamaged, it had been relocked. All the locks were intact, the radio had been taken out professionally and only the ripped cd with MP3s on had been taken. All my belongings were still in the glove compartment and all my shopping was still in the boot!

Thoroughly professional job. Nicked to order and no spite involved.

Before anyone goes on a rant, both the household excess and car insurance excess are larger than the cost of a replacement. Yes I know I took a risk. BUT I feel fortunate. Last time my car was broken into to nick my stereo they broke the locks, a window, couldnt get the stereo out cos it was integral to the dash so ripped apart the dash and, the piece de resistance - THEY SHAT ON THE DRIVES SEAT!!!

That was outside my old ward at Seacroft Hospital. I now park in Burmantofts every day and consider myself fortunate that these are only the 2 break ins I've had in 14 years.
