    When he's checked with young nudger, as he's soent so much time and effort into supporting the reds this season, nothing can be done without his say so...

    Or so he'd like us to believe hahahaha

    It’s not like it used to be. It’s not solely the managers (well, head coach) decision any more. They will have been discussing it for weeks.

    I suspect we’ll offer a contract to everyone but Jackson

    Didnt we offer a contract to Jackson at Christmas and he turned it down - Id still like us to keep him - especially if we may sell a Centre Half but I think you are right he is going - the fact he didnt even replace Lindsay at Bristol and we tried to shoehorn Fryers in instead means he is gone which is a shame
    Who else apart from Davies and Hedges is out of contract - I suspect both those we will try and retain but will both likely leave

    Did we have anyone else on loan other than Bahre - who I suspect we will also try and retain

    It's a shame to lose useful players, but we can hardly blame them for wanting to play more. Some of them barely got a chance to prove themselves this season. Now that we're going up their chances of getting more playing time are only going to get slimmer. So why sign up for more of the same?

    I would find it a shame to lose Davies though. He didn't have the best of seasons when we went down, but how much of that was due to the defence not proving enough protection? He's shown his worth this season. Plenty of points picked up due to his excellent saves.

    Agree about Davies. The defence was changed on a daily basis which breeds uncertainty and and doubt in a keeper which then bleeds into other areas of their game

    I'd like to see Fryers given a go. He's a quality player little bit i've seen of him. His face obviously doesn't fit, same with Jackson.
