    How do I create an association in the Folder Options control panel ?</p>

    I want to open an 'eps' file but I do not have a programme associated with it. Apparently.</p>

    I think you need to formally introduce them at a neutral venue or something first. Maybe take them bowling and see if they hit it off.

    put mouse over the item and right click

    one option is open with
    select that and it gives you a list of options you can select from or brows to

    you need photoshop or similar to open it

    Download and install xnview (http://download2.xnview.com/XnView-win-en.exe).</p>

    When it installs, run it, press F12 (options). go to bottom option of Associations and make sure Encapsulated Postscript (eps) is checked.
    </p>

    The eps should automagically open with xnview now.</p>

    And as a bonus xnview will open just about any picture format, perfect for them one handed surfing moments.</p>
