Thought that was a seriously gutsy and committed performance from a young player playing out of position tonight. Worked very hard, defended manfully and stuck to his task, and one of the only players we have that can cross a ball. Was between him and Wiseman for MOTM for me tonight, though another bright point would have been Andrai Jones's debut. Couple of shaky moments but real promise. ***Noble-Lazarus, obviously...
Acquitted himself admirably going forward, defensively he misread more things than a dyslexic in a library
Misjudged a couple of balls but always worked hard to recover the situation. For a young player playing out of position, think he deserves far more credit than that.
Thought RNL & Jones did extremely well in the circumstances. We may go down, but if so it won't be for lack of effort. Who knows, there could be another twist. Anyway, great effort guys. Shame Scotland (who was immense) mis kicked when the ball dropped to him, as that might have made the difference.
In no way am I implying that I could play LB at championship level, I'm just telling it how I saw it. I think it came out harsher than I intended it - I think he had a good game considering he played out of position, just saying that defensively he was pretty naive (which is understandable considering he is a young attacking player asked to do a job in defence).
I disagree, thought he p**sed it at left back, he's way too classy to play that position, but he did it easy. Cranie, not sure, his sliced kick gave away the corner that led to the equaliser, he was raped by the right winger in the first half as I remember.
How come you keep slagging club legends off but when someone has a TINY criticism of someone who has come up from the yoof team you have a pop at them? FTR thought RNL played well out of position. Did miss some things though, misjudging the bouce of the ball is nowt to do with being injured though.
