21 years old now. Behind 2 loan signings in Williams and Cole who are both younger than him. As well as being behind all our other strikers, wingers and left backs.

In all honesty, do we think he's finished at BFC? Maybe even as a league footballer? The game against Crewe was woeful. But we all saw such great potential in him particularly playing out of position against Huddersfield last year. After another long spell out he got a great goal at Reading upfront, which I always believed was his natural postion (although he's rarely played there).

Wheres it all gone wrong for Reuben? I think it's in his best interests to find a loan with view to a permanent asap. Shame really as for a while he seemed a great talent.

The worst thing that could happen to a very young footballer, and did happen to him, at Ipswich, was being used as a smokescreen for his, at the time inept manager, to hide behind.

    Needs to be played

    Week in, week out.

But hype that was placed on him at 15 years old didn't help. Simon.

I think too much has been made about Ipswich appearance. He didn't give a goal away or whatever and he has played ok at times since. I definitely think he is best off a front man but while he is played elsewhere he will be inefficient like Mellis was. Trying to 'convert' him to left back was a big mistake.

I have to say his time is up and if he doesn't move he may have to stop playing altogether as he isn't going to get spotted playing on training pitches for u21s.

It doesn't look good for him. But of course there's a talented player in there and be it at Oakwell or elsewhere he needs to be playing regular football now and kicking on. I'd be playing him for us, but I'm not a manager and the bloke who is is quite good at it so I'll trust his judgment.

He needs to be moved out on a season long loan.

Thing is - who wants him now?

He should have been loaned out years ago to see what he's made of.

Digby is another that could fall into the same trap.

Exactly. If he was played where he's most suited which would be central behind our front two and within shooting range (which he's good at), we might have a player still.

He enjoyed it at Scunny, and look who's the new boss there...

Also after Hammill on loan. But he's still in rehab apparently.

Alcohol. In one of those sporting chance clinics apparently. Trying to sort himself out. Fair play to him, still a top player on his day and if he can beat his demons he'll be like a new signing for Town. Big if, like.

Blimey! I thought it'd be from some sort of injury.
