As best as I can work this out for beating Chelsea we got:

    £300,000 prize money
    £265,000 TV fee
    £220,000 45% gate
    Plus merchandise/ programme sales etc

    =about £900,000

    Plus semi-final revenue to come :) :) :)

    for beating chelsea

we got an extra 300k..the rest we would have had we lost

    Plus we will get

16.5% of gate receipts from both semi's

    i.e say 80,000 x 2 x 40 x 0.165= 1m

    +tv money 265k??, + merchandise, + profit on coaches.

Could be more than 1.5m even if we lose

The TV money is compensation for lost revenue etc

I think any monies for TV rights in the semi finals go directly to the FA
