Do all those that 7 months ago were saying 'I'd take going down if it meant we got into the cup final', actually appreciate how stupid and ludacris their comments and opinions were? Leicester City have a home game against Bristol Rovers tomorrow, would another trip out to Wembley really be worth that? Most certainly not!
At the time, I would have taken Championship survival over winning the FA Cup. Losing the semi, though, was one of the most soul-destroying days I have ever known. It was probably the one chance in my whole life to see our club get to a 'proper' final. I'm only 29, but I'm not sure we'll ever get as close again. In hindsight, I'd rather have the FA Cup and be playing in the third division.
