Tried, along with one or two others, to get this chant going when Vaz Te made it 2-0..
You know, to the Mancini tune... Not sure how to type it out, wouldnt know how to spell WO, unless its WOAH, or WO-O-O-OH, RICARDO, etc, and so on..
Its simple, plain but sounded great, even with just the few of us.
Lets give it a proper rendition eh?

I heard you trying to get it going.

This 59 year old appreciated you trying, and I will join in with it.

    Hope this helps

Tbf, it was a fella a few rows down that started it, and he had a right set of lungs on him, loud and proud he was, and me and the mate joined in. He turned and nodded, and another couple of younger lads got in on it, but despite our efforts, it didnt quite happen. I thought with its simplicity, and the fact he'd just scored, that it would take off. But no, the majority started the boring EIEIEIO chant - again - and then a brief rendition of 'are you watching Sheffield?'
    Thanks though Mr 66.
And reevy? Stick to what you are good at yes? Whatever that may be. **** tipster, **** WUM.

Nope. They dont pay £14 an hour for the next 3 weeks, unlike my current employment. But, if I am made redundant, you never know..
I am quite happy for the time being, to share my journalistic talents with such as your bad self, for free, as a hobby if you will..
Hope this helped, toot toot, etc

    Sounded good tho

It was the fella with the Andrea Bocelli voice that impressed me. The loudest fan I have ever heard.
I just get tired of the same old 3 or 4 songs. And with it being discussed on ere in the week - new songs - I thought it was a cracking effort from Bocelli, and hopefully against Blackpool, more than just a few of us will join in

Heres the english lyrics if you want em!

Sometimes the world is a valley of heartaches and tears,
And in the hustle and bustle, no sunshine appears,
But you and I have our love always there to remind us
There is a way we can leave all the shadows behind us.
Volare, oh, oh! Cantare, oh, oh, oh, oh!
Let's fly way up in the clouds, away from the maddening crowds
We can sing in the glow of a star that I know of
Where lovers enjoy peace of mind
Let us leave the confusion and all disillusion behind
Just like birds of a feather, a rainbow together we'll find
Volare, oh, oh! Cantare, oh, oh, oh, oh!
No wonder my happy heart sings, your love has given me wings
Your love has given me wings, your love has given me wings
