Hi all. Was sat in the West Stand on Boxing Day. Fuller's antics were a disgrace. I was sat one row from the front and he was right in front of me whilst he went off on one. He had to be held back. I could not believe that he was not sent off. Astonishing that such highly paid footballers who are supposed to be professional can get away with that. If I hadn't been working today I would probably have written to the football authorities. In fact the police could have been involved. Taking no action give the complete wrong perception, that such behaviour is acceptable. I have just scrolled down the page and can see other threads have been posted on this, but I have not read them as I do not want my recollection to be altered. I know what I saw happening. I also see that there is a suggestion that there were racist comments being made. From where I was sat I heard none. He must be punished.
It really is a disgrace. I was sat on 2nd row from front. He was being held back. I do not pay money to be subjected to that!! I had a perfect view and could hear everything around me. Now I know what happened and I have read some of the comments below now. Now I know somer people are talking complete rubbish. People saying he wasnt being held back etc. I was right there in front of them. Why do people type things, when they are obviously making things up?
I was in the West Stand upper. I saw it all too. I went that ballistic that the old geezers hat who was sat in front of me fell off.
Not been on the bbs until now, so did not not know what everyone thought. But I cannot believe he wasn't punnished for it. The authorities must do something. Does anyone know if there is video footage? The police could have stepped in!
NO RACISM WAS DIRECTED AT FULLER! I was also sat directly opposite him. A man in front of me was shouting 'cheat' thats all. It appeared that Fuller was offering him out for a fight as he said 'Come on then'. All the man shouted was cheat, thats it. I admit I shouted you f off at him, however he was directing his words at the man shouting cheat. I have nicked people at football for using racist language and on this occasion I am positive I did not here one racist comment, Id swear on it. He should be ashamed that he reacted to the comments. Should be big enough to turn his back and ignore it. It was his actions that caused me to shout at him. Shawcross, Delap and Lawerance also were inciting the crowd in the West Stand. I have never seen a more nasty spiteful team come to Oakwell. I am still mad now. The whole game has spoilt mi xmas.
