Woolford played at Frickley so is he a Yorkshire lad?

Think martyn would prefer to stay in Championship. He was one of their bigger earners and they tried to offload him in Jan. I know he had offers while at Millwall but was advised to stay put until the end of the season even if it meant training with the kids.

Though if it meant dropping down to league 1 he'd jump at chance to move back up here

    he's a Fev lad :D

leeds were interested in him last season and has hes a big man utd fan he was getting some stick on facebook lol from his mates. Sheff United are interested this season too

Woolford would add some creative flair and genuine width. It will be interesting to see if we recruit that type of player (championship experience) or players from 'lower standard' clubs with resale value. Hopefully a mix of both.

Every time I've seen Woolford play he's impressed me so I'd have him definitely.

Hill tried to loan him, manager (think he was at Bristol city at time) wouldn't let him go out on loan.

he'll prob end up at Sheff utfd if they go up, been chasing him for a while

Quite a few teams interested in Martyn Woolford

But I know Lee Johnson, who is friends with Martyn from when they were both at Bristol has spoken to him more than once in the last couple of weeks.

Would welcome him with open arms. I've never thought he's owt special, but he's certainly decent and probably even more effective at this level. More width the merrier.

I don't know much about Woolford, but I'd have Chaplow has captain running the midfield.

Nice to think we can get him. Good age, higher league experience and knows where the net is.

I'd be happy with Woolford but I don't think we have a realistic chance of getting him.

Why have they been released, performance or to get high earners off the books? Sounds like they might be out of the budget for L1?

I see lots of fans from L1 teams talking about Cranie. Not sure folk grasp salary cap at our level.
