I have read somewhere in the last 24hrs, cant remember where - must be my age, that because he returned early he cant play for us for 28days after his return - not even in reserves!!. Thats why he did not play in reserves this week! So how is he going to get match fit!

    That's bizarre

There's a player at our club, on our books, who belongs to us, but we can't play him?

Why the hell did he come back then?

OK, Redfearn may not want to pick him, but at least he CAN pick him, say if his form/fitness improves or Scarborough pick up a load of injuries. But at Barnsley he can't play at all?!

I'm scratching me head over that one.

    Very Odd..........................................

Players have been called back off loan at other clubs so they can play.

Very strange. I've definately heard of clubs recalling players

Some of the rules of football don't make sense....</p>

I think the difference is that we didn't recall him!

If that was the case, we would have 'recalled him' just so he can play reserve football at least. Wouldn't waste 28 days of fitness building just for a technical term of a player returning to club - surely?
