How exactly the club expected him to be fully fit, over the broken leg and playing again by september when they must have known full well that the metal pin he had in his leg would have to be taken out eventually.

Did they think he'd have it whipped out on friday and be in the starting lineup for saturday?

    It's a different situation but

I've had pins put in both my legs/knees to stop the bones growing faster on one side than the other.

I will be able to start doing pe/sport in about 6 weeks but the pins have to stay in for upto a year.

The club probably expected Richard to be fit to play in September and then have the pin removed at the end of the season.

    Thanks laura [IMG]
I hope you're feeling a bit better every day.

I think I might have a bet that your legs will be back to full fitness before Richard Kell's. He has a year's head start on you and I still think you'll win.

    LOL and thanks.

I feel much better. I have even stopped taking pain relief yesterday because:

I want to try and cope without it

and I take enough medicines/tablets without 12 painkillers per day.

hope you aren't in too much pain

You're a very brave and strong girl. Unlike me, who is scared of spiders, oh and not a girl either
