wonder what that was all about then!? Have to say he has taken trnasfer specualtion etc on the chin got on with it and played a huge part in 2 wins, i don't care what anyone says we look 5 tmes better upfront with him in the side!
I like the chin comment, as he cleverly brought the ball under control with his chin before kicking it straight towards the goalie who kindly let it go past him.
Totally agree.
After getting told he was available for talks with Port Vale, he could have sulked and not bothered giving a f**k BUT he's turned it the other way and is determined to prove a point, and make himself worthy of a starting place. Worked his socks off last night and fully deserved his goal.
For me, Nardiello can go today. Seen nothing from him for too many weeks now,

disagree about nards because at Luton he was in a position where he usually twists and turns to shoot but laid it off to Howard, last night his run created space for Richards to score and although he is not the greatest workhorse we didn't see the stupid fancy dan stuff than he usually tried but gave it simple a lot more!
thats what worries me I'm not saying he is superb or the best ever but he does offer something some strength upfront and although he has missed sitters in the past for me that is down to form, at least he got into the position to miss? I cannot remember Leon Knight missing at chance while he was here!?!? Maybe AR was right about Nards, that he is more of a impact player from the bench?
RE: thats what worries me I don't know. You saw that he contributed to the goal last night and created one against Luton. That kind of contribution from Hayes is lauded...
true but last night i know he made a run to take away defenders but that was the only run he made all game!?! There is no doubt in his talent just his work ethic and because he looks lazy he looked low on confidence as well. I hope Hayes and Richards stay but last night 2 players apart it was pretty much AR team still, the main difference was that we played with 2 wingers and McCann and Togwell sat infront of the back 4 for extra protection!
