Brilliant man management - to quote Richards

"It isn't nice to know that you're not wanted. This is where I want to be. I feel I've got a point to prove now.
"I feel I have a special relationship with Barnsley as a club. I had my best ever season here last year."

    2 things not to forget:

    1. We wanted to do business for cash but Vale insisted no deal without Richards.
    2. Derby away.

I hope he does. At the end of the day, no matter how much money they are on, or how big their ego's are, they are still human, and still have feelings! Can't be nice to discover you are not wanted somewhere that you thought you were. He wasn't happy last week when he found out about the deal, but took his son out of nursery so to get ready for the move, now he's got to go and put him back in!
I hope he does prove his point, is started on Saturday and gets a hatrick!

It's the pursuit of an untried at this level striker to keep us upthat's got me on the complaining bus as well.

    But still....

We're in a fookin mess. We've got one striker who feels unwanted. One who's lazy as f uck, and another who's only got a couple of games behind him outside of Conference level.

Make no wonder we can't score

I'm classing Hayes as a winger.

Nardiello is the one who's bone idle. But good point- won't pass either.

Get a shedload of unwarranted stick.
Tries his nuts off for the team every game, links up fairly well with other players and makes a nuisance of himself. Isn't he our top scoring striker?

Nardiello? Greedy little fecker who only gives a toss if the ball is within 2 cm of his foot. and then refuses to pass.

Shearer went a very long spell without a goal, as did Rooney. Not that im comparing Rico with them, but I suppose they're both **** as well?

    I'll be rooting for him!

I'm pleased he is staying. We need to be ADDING to the squad rather than shipping two players out and only bringing one in.
