    Drove through Princes Risborough yesterday on way back to London after a meander round some cotswoldness ... the mrs looked at me a bit peculiar when i tried to explain someone on the bfc forum had a nickname related to it! Ah well...

    You're rightbut sometimes I make myself save one half for later. Not today though. Watching the new Barca-Barnsley warrants both halves!

    I chose it when I moved from Gloucester to Risborough in 2007. Lived there for about six years. Would still be there if the house prices weren't so ludicrous. Fabulous part of the world and close to London so perfect all round really.

    Gloucester was alright as well. Lived on the south side near to Painswick which is one of the featured locations for A Casual Vacancy, on BBC recently.

    House prices are ludicrous so you moved to Harrogate. Jeez they must be bad in PRisborough.

    No, I moved to Bircotes from PR and am still here. The eight month Harrogate thing ended yesterday - it was just for work reasons. Mind you Hg prices are not all that far behind PR. Bottom line is we couldn't afford to buy in either location but Bircotes was easy

    We're doing ok so far. Keep pausing it to do other stuff and post on here with my phone. I think we will win. Walsall are just rubbish!

    Wouldn't mind making a permanent switch there but what we have here would be twice as much in Hg. We had a rented flat alongside The Stray and it was a bit sad having a last walk into town yesterday. Stunning place all year round
