I think we'd sell out if we didn't give Chelsea any tickets.

But I think they'll be given the north stand.

    Yes

Because there's that many shithawks around that like to sit at home and pillock Barnsley fans for going and watching the team week in week out who'll suddenly become best mates with said supporters who'll fancy going along to Oakwell, sitting in judgement and tutting cos we aren't playing Chelsea off the park. They'll then get in their box for a year or two until the next big game comes around. I'd charge the ***** £50 a ticket.

being on the tv has nowt to do with it!

everyone who supports the club will want to be there. Only those bedbound or unable to make it cos of commitments at home wont go.

It wil be a total sell out - no question.

    fair enough Don...

... personally I feel we'll may not sell 15k... I'm also not sure Chelsea will sell anything like 6K.

If it was Man U I'm sure there would demand well in excess of supply though. Chelsea to me are a 'plastic club' with 'plastic fans'.

    £5o isn't enough!

Problem is though Dirk old chap, how would we distinguish those ***** from the 'ardcore, real fans like me and you? Could we get t-shirts printed or wear a badge or a funny hat?

Maybe we could all have special 'real fan' beards?

    They're easy to spot.

There were a few at Liverpool. Nice new coats, all giggly and smiley, looking slightly baffled at the songs eminating from the Barnsley end.

To be honest though, still isn't much of a give away. I'm still amazed every time I hear noise from our fans (granted it's to be expected away from home). There'll be a lot of confused looking fans when our fans (yes, even those in the East stand) start getting behind the sooooooper reds

    am puzzled....

at the number of threads asking where all the stay away fans are and then when some of them come out they get slated. OK most of the glory fans will only be back next time we draw a big club, but some of them might just get hooked. So just for the chance that some of them do become regulars its worth tolerating them, provided I get me tickets first o course.

    Definitely

We sold our tickets out Vs Leicester. This has far more appeal. Everyone I have spoken to seems to want a ticket. (Including a Wednesday fan who I spoke to at my daughters school yesterday) Her words were "I was proper jealous of you on Saturday - wish I could have gone - I'm tempted to come & cheer them on against Chelsea."

    RE: am puzzled....

It's not so much that they pick and choose their games, it's that they'll do nothing but criticise for 90 minutes, if we lose they'll say "told you so" and then not come back for ages.

I'd love this cup run to be a catalyst for getting 13/14,000 regulars into Oakwell, but it won't happen.
