As I posted the other day...
The people on this board, not everybody, need to take a reality check and realise what has gone off over the last few days/weeks etc.
This not fact but my view but I want to write with a certain amount of context and that is not my general posting demeanor.
We have sacked AR and that is that. The club moves on and I thank Andy and Rick for their moments while in charge. Further to that I wish them well in their future endeavors in what ever their next step is. Thanks for the memories boys and I really mean that.
GS and PC have done whatever they see as the right thing and we need to back that decision based on the info we have been given, whether right or wrong. At least we still have a club and club that looks like coming out of a mirky tunnel to saythe least.
Mr Davy and his new sidekick have been given the roll in the interim and I again will say good luck boys, this is not an easy job - in fact far from it as throughout the history of our club the average for a manager is just over 3 years (taking into account managers like Johnnie Steele et al who were here for more than 10 years). If the pairing does well then so what?
Give them the job until the end of the season for me. They might be the next Ady Boothroyd?
On the flip side, they might not be so Mr Shep, I beg you not to be as emotional as a few weeks ago with AR's contract situation.
We are all fans of BFC and that is why we are here on this BBS, a fans forum for the fans by the fans. What gets wrote on here sometimes can make the situation even worse sometimes. I know that sounds hardcore but it really can.
Whatever comes from the club have no doubts that his board is closely observed by the Oakwell hierachy even if to keep an eye on what the general fan thinks no matter what comes from the club.
Lets all back what the club feels is necessary. I am for one looking forward to Saturday, disappointed on some things (McCindoe) but life goes on and this club is what counts.
I support BFC not any individual.

Agree with most of that It all could've been worked out in a better way - been a p.r. disaster, but the p[layers / staff who are left aren't to blame. Let's just get behind 'em. I'm just praying Ipswich don't score tomorrow, as I can just picture the scene now. Come on u Reds!
Ah yes I know, can't wait for the next lot of no-hopers....I had this awful thought a while back though...... something to do with someone plotting their revenge...>!
B*ll*cks Someone along the line has been telling porkies!!!!! I don't trust the board I feel the board could and should have handled things better. I think the timing of andy's sacking couldn't have come at a worst time. I feel the 4 new signings just goes to show that shep was picking (or deciding ) the team. Is he going to take training aswell? I find it rather funny that PC has almost vanished from the limelight( is this due to the mess ISOFT is currently in) I feel when taken in the intended andy's comments about barnsley nev er being a premiership contending team were bearing in mind the current financial clout of premiership clubs was a brave and accurate statement.I'd rather have a good championship side than a boom and bust prem side like in times gone by we cannot compete with the like of the prem teams we can compete in this league but we need the backing of the board?
Like I said my view cocker... They were my views cos I tend to have my own pair of knackers.
I'll answer them in order for you.
(1) Which fan trusts any board inc. Man Utd/Chelski?
(2) Yes they could but we don't know the reason why they did and never will. (At least we got a reasonable explanation from our chairman. Did we when we got rid of Beresford/Agnew/Tiler/Currie? No we flipping didn't.
(3) When is a good time to sack a manager? No really? When you have a chance to get out of the **** or when you might have a chance to get out of the ****?
(4) No it shows nothing. It either shows that AR was refusing to sign players or that AR was right and that shep was interfering. Who knows? And no sheps grey suit won't wash the November mud out, even with dry cleaning.
(5) PC has been on Radio Sheff at least twice over the last week. He's not the chairman (who has also been on the radio). PC is stillpart of the Oakwell set up.
Thanks for the B*ll*cks.
I'll see you setdy.

PC vanished from the limelight?? Was he ever in it? Is that why he gave an interview to radio sheff this week?
thats a bit long winded and serious for thee nutkins has tha been tekkin thi serious pills again?

And no... For the last time Patrick Cryne has nothing to do with ISOFT.
He sold his shares.
FACT.

your welcome to your opinion But i think the whole weeks events stink like a bird from Hull FISHY VERY FISHY SOMEONE'S FINGERS SMELL
Pissed... me sen when I wrote it thinking they'll never believe this trollop.
From the heart that mate.
hehe

RE: PC vanished from the Before this week when was last time you heard him and i would hardly call it an interview more a response a interview is a two way thing
Listen... Patrick Cryne is not the chairman or manager nor does he serve Burgers.
He's not Jack flippin Walker either and doesn't profess to be.
He's like a bank with a heart. Thats it.

ah but He left isoft just before an investigation into dodgy accounting and an investigation into the nhs contract they were awarded coinsidence i think not
before? Was it not...?
By investigation you mean guilty of wrongdoing then...
I don't know what to say.
Without PC we wouldn't have a club.
Have that.
Does Sean Lewis mean owt to you?
